Bill Truxaw Senior moved his family from Ingleside to Beeville, Texas in the early 1930's where he and his family constructed and operated a rental housing complex and lumber yard. The original lumber yard and housing was located on the West side of South Washington in the area extending south from the current location of Shorty's Place Restaurant.
Bill Truxaw Junior moved the Truxaw Lumber Company and some of the housing to its current location at 2305 South Washington in June of 1967. The first rental equipment was offered to customers at the lumber yard in 1970 and was so well received by cusomers that the business evolved to entirely equipemnt rtental within a few years. The business name was then changed to Truxaw Rentals.
Bill Truxaw III and wife Barbara became owners of Truxaw Rentals in January 1996. Bill, Barbara, Their son Bard, Jacinto Del Bosque and Jay Zamora now work hard to operate Truxaw Rentals, LLC and serve Beeville and the surrounding areas. The business now offers a wide variety of modern high quality contractor, homeowner, ranch and oilfield equipment to customers all over South Texas. Future Plans - Truxaw Rental has plans for construction of a new rental yard on a site on FM 351 located between McCoys Building Supply and Sutherlands.
The family plans to continue to serve South Texas with high quality rental equipment well into the future. After working for the Army for 30 years, Bill and Barbara Truxaw are happy to be back home in Beeville, Texas.
Ditch Witch, riding and walk-behind trenchers, Kubota backhoes, water/trash pump and more for sale at Truxaw Rentals.
A transport trailer is usually provided at no extra cost for each rental that requires a trailer. Be sure you have the correct trailer ball and trailer brake controls on your vehicle. Either 2" or 2 5/16" depending on the item rented.
Also, it is not secret that South Texas is full of thorns and we ask for your cooperation to minimize tire problems. Please inspect the tires before you leave the rental yard. We will repair or replace tires if necessary before the trailer leaves the rental yard. However, the customer will have the responsibility for repair or replacement of trailer tires after the trailer leaves the rental yard. It is important to check the tires before leaving and before the return trip to avoid tire damage.
